Dr. Sani

Dr. Sasan Sani, M.D., is an accomplished physician who has been practicing in the field of pulmonary and critical care. Dr. Sani maintains various board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, as well as Neuro-Critical Care Medicine. He specialized in treatment of advanced lung diseases, including pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary fibrosis. He is the Chair of Critical Care Medicine at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center (PHCMC). He is also the Medical Director of Providence Holy Cross Subacute. He is also the Co-Director of the Critical Care Program at PHCMC.

Dr. Sani completed his undergraduate education at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then completed his masters degree in physiology and obtained his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of California, Irvine. He then completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Given his dedication for direct patient care, he co-founded PulmoCrit Associates immediately after completing his training, which has been one of the fastest growing pulmonary practices in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. Along with an ever-growing team of providers, Dr. Sani has established a robust program to deliver compassionate and cutting-edge critical care to thousands of ICU patients. He has been involved in various committees at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center as well as the directorship positions mentioned above.

Along with his associates at PulmoCrit, Dr. Sani has been able to introduce various innovative procedures, including Endobronchial Ultrasonography as well Endobronchial Valve Treatment at PHCMC. He has a passion for treatment of patients with pulmonary hypertension and he is currently one of the few physicians in the San Fernando Valley to treat pulmonary hypertension.
